SURFACE PREPARING
The product must be applied on the surface only after it was properly cleaned because this step is important for its durability and quality.
New surfaces
  • The surfaces are even with pumice stone, freestone, well burned brick, through circular moves and maintaining permanent contact with plaster surface. For big surfaces it is recommended to use electric polishing equipment;
  • It is recommended to open the cracks with a knife and filled with cement binder, plaster or other filling material. For cracks smaller than 2mm use "Stuc C 4000". For higher cracks thick, it is recommended successively application of more coats with stuc, with intermediary polishing and dust;
  • The plaster which, through knocking, show cracks or some other irregularities are totally removed, until the masonry. If the surface is small it can be repaired with concrete pasta with fast drying; on big surfaces use cement binder of the same type with the plaster;
  • The finishing pasta is made of plaster pasta or "Stuc" C 4000, the last one being very white, with fast drying and very good polishing capacity after complete drying;
  • praful rezultat din netezirea suprafetelor se indeparteaza cu perii, maturi sau se sufla cu aer comprimat;
  • anulatiile de nisip mai mari, evidente pe suprafata tencuielii, trebuie indepartate deoarece se vor desprinde cu timpul impreuna cu finisajul, prin atingere;
  • All the period for repairing and plastering the recommended temperature is at least 5°C;
  • The plaster need at least 24 hours for complete dry before applying the last finishing coat.
Note

For best results on surfaces plastered with APLAFILL or CT 127 skim it is recommended initial application of one layer of G 8105 "KÖBER Putzgrund Weiss".

Given a properly prepared surface is only necessary to apply one coat of V 8130 paint.

COMPATIBILITY
The product must be applied on the surface only after it was properly cleaned because this step is important for its durability and quality.
Surfaces that already had been painted
  • The plaster condition is checked through knocking; if there are surfaces or borders that will fall they need to be repaired with new plaster;
  • Old, un-adherent paint are totally removed through erasing with steel spatula or burning with gas lamp;
  • Paints based on glue are totally removed;
  • Surfaces affected by fungus or mold need to be cleaned and well impregnated with anti-mold solution AS8000, and after that the anti-mold primer, G8107, is applied and needs total dry.
  • If the surface need to be repaired it is recommended to use cement pasta, plaster cement or others materials adequate for consolidation; the dust, from polishing after repairing, is removed.
Priming the surfaces before applying the product
  • The purpose of the step is to impregnate the support and to fix the coat that already exist on the wall, in case that this previous coat is resistant and does not need to be removed;
  • Through priming the surface is uniformed so the last coat will be perfect, without spots;
  • Furthermore, the primer rises the adherence between the surface and the product we want to apply;
  • Priming is mandatory and requires at least one primer G8101 coat, diluted 1:5 with cold, clean water (15-20°C); for best result it is recommended applying one coat of white primer "Putzgrund Weiss" G8105, diluted maximum 10% with clean water (15-20°C); if it is necessary (the surface was affected by fungus or mold) instead of G8101 primer, you need to apply 1-2 coats of anti-mold primer, G8107, after previously cleaning the surface with anti-mold solution, AS8000.
  • The primer is applied only after complete drying;
  • The surfaces have new plaster or repairing require additional priming because of the high absorption grade;
  • After complete drying the product may be applied.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
  • environment relative humidity: max.70%
  • environment and surface temperature: 10 - 30°C
  • it is recommended the ventilation the working place.
NOTE:
If these conditions are not respected it can lead to defects or compromise the entire protection.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The product should be conditioned at 10-30°C, well homogenize and applied on the surface, previously prepared: the product is applied through rolling, brushing, air-spraying or air-less spraying:
  • Brushing or rolling: the first coat is applied diluted with approx. 10% cold, clean water (15-20°C); after complete drying (minimum 60 minutes) the second coat is applied (if it is necessary), without dilution or diluted with approx. 10% cold, clean water (15-20°C);
  • Air-spraying (pressure: 3 bars; nuzzle 1.5 mm): 1-2 coats are applied with approx. 40% dilution with cold, clean water (15-20°C);
  • Air-less spraying (pressure: 150-250 bars, nozzle: 0.013-0.026, pulverization angle 40°): 1-2 coats are applied, without dilution.
Re-covering period between coats: minimum 60 minutes.
The used instruments are washed with water, immediately after application.
Observation: Do not work below 5°C
